Most of the beef in Virginia leaves the state. We’re here to fix that. It is estimated that we will keep 1,000 more quality cows in the state for local consumption in 2024 via The Virginia Beef Co. initiative that would otherwise be shipped to far away states.

We expect to deliver 250,000 pounds of fresh, local ground beef and other products to Virginia schools & dining institutions under The Virginia Beef Co. product line in 2024.

Everyone needs a bigger piece of the pie - especially farmers. This relationship allows us to purchase cattle at a fair price. At minimum, we will eliminate commission fees for the farmer vs. selling at a stock market. We will put tens of thousands of dollars back into the pockets of our producers thanks to the Beef Marketing Group & PFG working with us.
